About Marlo

Marlo Quinn grew up in Bangor, County Down, playing piano at her granny's and taping the shipping forecast off the radio. She makes music at night because that's when the flat goes quiet and the harbour gets loud.

Her first album, Ferry Hours, came out in 2023 and got played on late night radio across Ireland and the UK. She still works three days a week as a sound engineer at a theatre, and uses its leftover cable for everything.

Keyboard, laptop and monitors on a desk against a brick wall
A Belfast alleyway strung with neon signs and lights
“Music for the walk home when you don't want to go home yet.”

Northern Wireless

“Quinn makes a broken drum machine sound like weather.”

Static Fade zine

“The best Belfast record about insomnia since, well, ever.”
